Traditional, recently composed, and improvised music from and influenced by different ethnic groups in China, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and the Middle East.
Featuring: Haik Adamian, Christopher Adler, Supeena Insee Adler, Münir Beken, Satoru Ito, Souhail Kaspar, Chi Li, Qian Liu, Tanya Merchant, A.J. Racy, Helen Rees, and members of the UCLA Music of China Ensemble, directed by Chi Li.
This concert is part of the European Foundation for Chinese Music Research (Chime) 20th International Conference.
ADMISSION: Free, but please reserve in advance because of limited seating.
