Kathy Nixon is in charge of the Technical Services Office. That is, she manages Schoenberg Music Building. She supervises the technical services staff who serve various departmental needs. The technical staff includes piano tuners, electronic technicians, recording technicians, and the stage manager. The Technical Services Office schedules all general assignment classrooms, reports and coordinates all maintenance work for Schoenberg Music Building. Kathy schedules all concerts and recitals taking place in Schoenberg Hall and Jan Popper Theater. She also administers the production information for all events scheduled by the Department of Ethnomusicology and the Department of Music.
