Masanga Marimba Ensemble

Masanga Marimba plays traditional and popular music from Latin America and Africa. In addition to seven Zimbabwean marimbas of various sizes, the ensemble features vocals, drums and other percussion instruments, saxophone, and trumpet. “Masanga” is a word in the Shona language meaning a coming together of rivers or roads, representing the meeting of African and American traditions in this group.

Open to the public and free of charge
