The University of California, Los Angeles, will host the 15th Triennial Symposium on African Art, founded by Richard Lang in 1968 and now sponsored by the Arts Council of the African Studies Association (ACASA). The conference will be held in conjunction with the exhibition "Central Nigeria Unmasked: Arts of the Benue River Valley," organized by the Fowler Museum at UCLA.
