Chamber Music with Shape Shifting Guitars

 Prof. Peter Yates (guitar, arpeggione, electric guitar) will be joined by local guest artists and vocalists, including Nadia Shpachenko (harpsichord). They will perform a new work for oboe, mandolin, and arpeggione by Jonathon Grasse; Bach’s Second Gamba Sonata; a duet for guitar and mandolin by Garry Eister; and the L.A. premiere of Peter Yates’ “Seven Victorians, Four Cranks, and a Crone” (song cycle).
