UCLA presents the West Coast premiere of Jonathan Dove's celebrated opera "Flight." The opera, which premiered at Glyndebourne, England, in 1997 to enthusiastic critical acclaim, is a comedy with serious parts and is based on the experiences of a refugee stranded in an airport — whose story was also presented in the Tom Hanks film "The Terminal." (All productions of Opera UCLA are made possible through the generous support of the Maxwell H. Gluck Foundation. This event is co-sponsored by the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television.)
