 The 50 members of the UCLA Wind Ensemble are highly select and versatile musicians who are challenged to create music at the highest artistic levels.

**Auditions**

September 26^th, 27^th, 28^th

General Information

1.         You can sign up for a audition time outside of Ken Fisher’s Office, Room 2429. Please bring a prepared solo and orchestral excerpts if you have them.

2.         We will provide sight-reading material.

3.         MUSICIANSHIP – TONE – TECHNIQUE – ATTITUDE

4.         Please fill out an audition sheet before your audition.

5.         Please come to your audition early and warmed-up.

6.         Auditions will be held in the Band Room – SH 1345 – and/or other rooms as posted.

7.         Results will be posted by Saturday, September 29^th and will also be emailed to everyone who auditions.

9.         If you are interested only in Symphonic Band, sign up on the Symphonic Band sign-up sheet. The first Symphonic Band rehearsal will be Tuesday, October 2^nd 3:00 to 4:50pm. See the Symphonic Band link for more information.

10.       The first Wind Ensemble rehearsal will be Monday, October 1^st.
