Professor Mitchell Peters, Director

The UCLA Percussion Ensemble is a chamber ensemble made up primarily of percussion majors. Its purpose is to develop and refine percussion techniques and ensemble playing. The ensemble is dedicated to performing the standard percussion ensemble literature, as well as contemporary works for percussion ensemble. Permission of instructor is required. The percussion ensemble does its major concert in the spring quarter, but is also involved in other performance activities. Percussion ensemble meets on Mondays from 5:00 to 7:00, usually in the percussion studio.
