JUDITH PALANCA HANSEN was born in Manila, Phillipines. She teaches art song and accompanying class, and is coach and accompanist for Opera UCLA as well as graduate students. Hansen received her M.M. from the University of Southern California where she studied accompanying with Gwendolyn Koldofsky and Jean Barr. She performed with the USC Symphony Orchestra after winning the concerto competition, and was given the Outstanding Graduate award upon graduation.
In Manila, she has performed with the Manila Symphony Orchestra and Manila Chamber Orchestra. Ms. Hansen has played and collaborated with distinguished master teachers, singers, and directors in master classes and recitals. She has been coach / accompanist at California State University at Fullerton, Opera Guild Auditions, Metropolitan Opera Auditions in Southern California, Opera Pacific, Fullerton Light Opera, Festival of Learning, Heidelberg Stadt Theater, and the Rhein-Neck ar Theater in Germany.
