Alum Tracy Cox wins Marilyn Horne Song Competition | Print |

Tracy Erin Cox, a 2010 MM graduate in Voice from UCLA's Music Department, has won this year's Marilyn Horne Vocal Song Competition in Santa Barbara.  Making it even more exciting for the Music Department, Tracy performed as part of her competition entry a song by the department's own faculty member, and composer, Mark Carlson.  She sang his song "Cuando yo muero" (When I die) from "Cuatro sonetos de amor", on sonnets by Neruda.
