Brenda Galvez Student Affairs Officer
Brenda Galvez, Students Affairs Officer I (SAO I), manages the logistics of scholarships, awards, and competition programs for the UCLA Ethnomusicology and Music Departments. This entails working closely with undergraduate and graduate advisors and staff. Brenda also assigns keys, lockers, and practice rooms to students and faculty in the Schoenberg Music Building. Brenda obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at UCLA. She is currently a graduate student in the Master’s in Educational Counseling program at USC. Before returning to UCLA for a full-time career, Brenda worked in different educational institutions such as Glendale Community College as an academic counselor intern and at USC as an assistant learning specialist. |
