Thursday, November 17, 2011 Gina Amador and Adam Berg both have successful careers in the music production/music supervision industry. They are very excited to return to UCLA and speak with our current majors. They will discuss how their ethnomusicology degree has worked for them in the “real” world, both practically and personally. Gina Amador has over 20 years of experience in entertainment with expertise in both film and television, ranging from producing, post supervision and music supervision, to financial management and accounting. Acclaimed as the "union rules and contracts guru," her flexibility and in-depth knowledge of the entire filmmaking process has made her an indispensable link between creative, legal, financial, and management teams. Adam Berg is the founder of Manifest Music, a state-of-the-art music production facility located in Santa Monica, California. The studio offers two excellent mix rooms, and one live room with beautiful acoustic treatment. Services include music composition or arrangement, tracking, mixing, mastering, dialogue, editing, format conversions, sound design, and audio restoration.
