Ensemble History: Music of Korea Ensemble

The Music of Korea Ensemble was created when Danny Lee was hired by the Music Department as a lecturer in 1967. The course was first offered during the 1968-69 academic year as Music 70/170N. The two instructors for the Music of Korea Ensemble have been: Danny Lee (1967-97) and DongSuk Kim (1997 to the present). A number of community musicians have performed with the group over the years.
