Ensemble History: Brazil Ensemble

The Music of Brazil Ensemble was created in 2000 when Brazilian musician Airto Moreira was hired by the Department of Ethnomusicology. Instructors of the Music of Brazil Ensemble have been: Airto Moreira (2000-02); graduate student Beto Gonzalez with the assistance of Tara Browner (2002 to 2007); Kirk Brundage (2007 to 2011).
