Chihara work to premiere at New York Chamber Music Festival | Print |

On Tuesday, September 14th, French piano legend PASCAL ROGÉ is joined by his wife AMI HAKUNO ROGÉ and friends from the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, in an eclectic program celebrating the bicentennial of Schumann, as well as David Amram's 80th birthday, and presenting 2 works by Paul Chihara (including the world premiere of "Arabesque", commissioned by the New York Chamber Music Festival).  The program concludes with the famous Brahms Horn Trio. Joining Pascal and Ami Rogé are New York Philharmonic musicians , cellist MARIA KITSOPOULOS and hornist HOWARD WALL, as well as Metropolitan Opera musicians, cellist SAMUEL MAGILL, flutist LUCIAN RINANDO and former MET concertmaster ELMIRA DARVAROVA.

AMRAM: Three Songs for Marlboro for horn and cello
