Graham Raulerson is a PhD candidate writing a dissertation about the hobo in American musical culture. He holds a Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Bowling Green State University. His interests include twentieth-century American music, music of the American political left, the American musical in film and community theater, tonal hermeneutics, the poetics of silence, music in space and time, music in film and television, music in the mass market, eighteenth-century European art music, twentieth-century chamber and electronic music, and experimental music.
