Academic Senate Grants

Academic Senate (ladder-rank) faculty are eligible for research funding through the Council on Research (COR) in the following categories: 1) Faculty Research Grants, supporting individual research projects; 2) Faculty Research Travel, funding transportation of Academic Senate members to report the results of original research at meetings of recognized scholarly societies; and 3) Intercampus Exchange Program, supporting travel and subsistence of faculty and advanced graduate students for study and research on other campuses of the University of California. Applications for full-year funding will be due each year on or around March 1.

Once you have received an Academic Senate Grant, and made expenditures against it, please turn in receipts to Martha Rider, Accountant, 825-4766. If you want to hire someone on your grant, hire them through Dianne Roberts, Academic Personnel Analyst, 206-3020, and turn in timesheets to Martha Rider, 2550 SMB.
