wu jia po A story during the Tang dynasty – After eighteen years of fighting in the war, General Xue's appearance had changed so much that no one recognized him when he finally returned home. Claiming to be a friend of General Xue, he tested his wife's loyalty by trying to convince her that her husband had sold her to him. When she refused to believe him, he realized she was still devoted to him and happily reunited with her.
