Grading and course requirements: 
Two seminar papers of approximately four pages each, and two presentations based on the seminar papers will be required.  A final research paper will also be required.  Students will have the opportunity to present their research during the last seminar.  Seminar papers, seminar presentations and participation will count for 50% of the final mark.  The research paper will also count for 50% of the final mark.
The final research paper should be approximately twenty typed double-spaced pages.  A one-page research proposal should be submitted by the seventh week.  Research papers are due no later than December 11th.
