Wright, Michael Richard

Michael Wright received his MA and Ph.D. from UCLA. His thesis is entitled "Polyphonic Stratification in Traditional Thai Instrumental Music" (1968) and his dissertation is entitled "The Music Culture of Cirebon" (1978). Wright has held several positions as a music instructor in Buffalo, New York, including: Director of Vocal Music at East High School Instructor of Music at State University College and Professor of Music in the Performing Arts Department at State University College.
