O達rien-Rothe, Linda Lee

Linda Lee O達rien-Rothe received her doctoral degree in ethnomusicology from UCLA where she completed her dissertation entitled "Songs of the Face of the Earth: Ancestor Songs of the Tzuthil-Maya of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala" (1975). She has been an Instructor of Music at Colegio Monte Maria in Guatemala and a music researcher in Santiago Atitlan. O達rien-Rothe has published several recordings, including Music of Guatemala (1975), Music of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala (1977), and Songs of the Face of the Earth: Ancestor Songs of the Tzuthil-Maya Indians of Guatemala (1976).
